The Powassan Eagles Junior "A" Hockey Club would like to announce the hiring of Scott Colosimo as head coach for the 2013-2014 season. Colosimo was most recently an assistant coach in the professional Federal Hockey League with the 1000 Islands Privateers

The Powassan Eagles are proud to announce that they have signed Nic Novysedlak who played professionally in the Austrailian Ice Hockey Laague as well as for the Australian National Team.

The Powassan Eagles junior "A" hockey club is proud to announce that forward Jakub Pejsa and goalie Vlastimil Hak will be returning to the club for the 2013-2014 campaign.

The Powassan Eagles Junior A Hockey Club added thirteen players this weekend at the 2013 GMHL Entry Draft.

The Powassan Eagles and Seguin junior "A" hockey clubs will be hosting a tryout for all players looking to play junior "A" hockey in Ontario next season. 

Martijn Oosterwijk, who played junior "A" hockey in Powassan during the 2009-2010 season, was named the IIHF best goalie during the IIHF Division 1 World Championships in Croatia in February.

Although they didn’t win the playoffs, the Powassan Eagles had a successful first year. “The year went really well. The team really gelled together,” said coach Gary Astalos. “We’re a pretty close-knit group.”

The Powassan Eagles are happy to announce the NOJHL North Bay Trappers’ Junior 'A' Hockey Club has acquired forward C.J. Nicholson for the 2013-2014 season.
